2. Organizational Structure Paper in which you select an organization with which you are familiar, and present the following items as they relate to that organization:
a. Describe the organizational structure of your selected organization. Compare and contrast that structure with two different organizational structures. Use charts and graphs with in the body of the paper to provide a visual reference.
b. Evaluate how organizational functions (e.g., marketing, finance, human resources, operations, etc) impact and determine the organizational structure of your selected organization.
c. Explain how organizational design (e.g., geographic, functional, customer-based, product, service, hybrid, matrix, marketing channels, and departmentalization) help to determine which structure best suits your selected organization’s needs.
Be sure to cite at least two sources in your presentation.
Be sure to include 8-10 charts or graphs with in the paper to represent the ideas being put forth.
Properly cite your references. If you used an electronic source, include the URL. If you used a printed source please attach a copy of the data to your paper.
This is a slight deviation from APA and may increase the page count but not the word count. The professor was very specific in asking for charts and graphs…he is looking for something relevant to todays economy like comparing GM to Toyota etc…..
